Why Therapy?
Maybe you're wondering if therapy is really worth it—if it can actually help, and whether it’s worth the effort it takes to find the right therapist, schedule sessions, and face painful thought patterns or past experiences.
If so, I understand. Therapy requires courage and vulnerability. It’s okay to feel uncertain.
My approach is focused on learning about you FIRST and then considering how to help you organize your needs. Depending on your needs and comfort level, we might draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), or a more reflective, Person-Centered approach. Together, we'll find what fits you best.
